Described by writer-director Frances O’Connor because the story of “a reclusive artist [who] struggles to develop into her true self,” “Emily” explores the inspiration behind an iconic Gothic novel. “How did you write ‘Wuthering Heights?’” Emily Brontë (Emma Mackey, “Intercourse Training”) is requested in a brand new trailer for the revisionist biopic.
“I’ve numerous tales,” Emily says. The trailer means that not everyone seems to be involved in what she has to say. Her work is described as “ugly” and she or he’s warned to not “convey disgrace” to her household.
“Emily Bronte has at all times been a touchstone for me in my life. She was somebody who was so authentically herself and I needed to inform a narrative that will convey her into consciousness for younger girls now,” O’Connor advised us.
