OTTTO, the band that includes bassist Tye Trujillo (son of Metallica’s Robert Trujillo), have introduced a brand new album titled Life Is a Recreation. The Los Angeles trio have unveiled the music/video “My Ache” forward of the LP’s March twenty fourth launch.

Trujillo is joined by singer-guitarist Bryan Noah Ferretti (vocals/guitar) and drummer Triko Chavez in OTTTO. The band beforehand launched a self-titled effort in 2020, in addition to a reside album, Locos Stay in Venice, in late 2022. A reside model of “My Ache” appeared on the latter launch.

Ferretti said of the upcoming album, “The vibe of this document was getting out of our consolation zone and being free. We had been opening our eyes to what could possibly be performed. There have been some cool harmonies, and we centered on the general construction. It had a continuing circulate.”

Trujillo added, “In 2020, our self-titled [release] included a number of tunes we had sitting round for a couple of years. With this document, the expertise was totally different. We actually took the time to discover a vibe for every observe.”

Life Is a Recreation was produced by Tim Harkins (Korn, Jerry Cantrell). A video for “My Ache” was directed by Ali “Dr. Cosdem” Bilal, and might be seen under.
