Netflix Has Canceled 1899 After Simply One Season

The ship has sailed on 1899‘s time on Netflix. 

The thriller thriller collection—which starred Emily Beecham, Aneurin Barnard, Andreas Pietschmann and Miguel Bernardeau—has been cancelled by the streaming service greater than a month after releasing its first season on Nov. 17, its creators have introduced.

“With a heavy coronary heart we’ve got to let you know that 1899 is not going to be renewed,” co-showrunners Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar introduced on Odar’s Instagram. “We’d have liked to complete this unimaginable journey with a 2nd and third season as we did with Darkish.
