Elon Musk Suspends Kanye West from Twitter for Incitement of Violence

Kanye West’s antisemitism is a bridge too far, even for Elon Musk.

In one among his first acts of censorship since assuming management of Twitter, the self-proclaimed “free speech absolutist” deleted a sequence of West’s tweets that includes a swastika and imposed a 12-hour suspension on West’s account.

West reacted to the information by sharing a textual content message from Musk, wherein the Twitter CEO wrote, “Sorry, however you could have gone too far. This isn’t love.” West additionally posted a shirtless photograph of Musk, which he declared to be “my last tweet.”

Musk responded to West through his personal Twitter account. “That is superb,” Musk tweeted in response to the shirtless photograph. “This isn’t,” he added in response to West’s use of the swastika.

In response to a Twitter consumer asking Musk to “repair Kanye please,” Musk replied, “I attempted my greatest. Regardless of that, he once more violated our rule towards incitement to violence. Account might be suspended.”

Earlier on Thursday, West appeared on Alex Jones’ InfoWars, the place he explicitly and repeatedly praised Adolf Hitler whereas denying that the Holocaust had occurred.
