“Scream” queen Drew Barrymore obtained in contact together with her horror-movie roots throughout an interview with Allison Williams on the previous’s daytime speak present. Getting into the position of the villain, Barrymore dressed up in a practical M3GAN costume to shock Williams, who performs the inventor of the titular robotic doll in “M3GAN.” “Hello Allison. Totally embracing the killer android’s signature type, Barrymore kneels beside Williams in a tan costume, white tights, and a blond wig. “How did you provide you with my title?” she asks in a breathy imitation of M3GAN’s voice. Williams replies, “It is quick for Mannequin 3 Generative Android. It is M3GAN for brief.”

Williams later asks how Barrymore likes being a rogue AI doll. “You already know I really like myself and I really like being part of your loved ones. I particularly like the best way you taught me to crawl-run,” Barrymore replies, prompting her to exhibit a four-legged run that may hang-out our goals like M3GAN’s TikTok-famous homicide dance. Williams tells Barrymore, “You are a pure,” because the latter adjusts her bright-blue contact lenses.

On Jan. 18, Blumhouse confirmed the sci-fi horror movie will get a sequel, scheduled for January 2025. Since Barrymore has a historical past of showing in horror movies and thrillers (see: “Firestarter,” “Far From Dwelling,” and “Donnie Darko”), we would not be shocked if she makes a cameo within the subsequent movie — possibly as M3GAN’s new greatest buddy?
