Derek Hough and Hayley Erbert are feeling additional grateful this vacation season.

Earlier this month, the Dancing With the Stars decide and his fiancée had been touring to the California mountains after they skilled a scare on the roads.

“On December 12, Derek and I received into a fairly scary automotive accident,” Hayley wrote on Instagram Dec. 23. “Our accident concerned a steep hill, icy roads, a tree, and worst of all, the worry that we might slide off the mountain. Given the circumstances, we’ve got a lot to be pleased about.” 

For Hayley, she’s glad there have been no different folks concerned with the accident. As well as, paramedics had been fast to reply and assist the couple out.

“We’re each okay,” she mentioned. “I solely walked away a bit of banged up, a swollen face, and 4 stitches above my eyebrow. Now, greater than ever, we understand how fragile life is and the way essential it’s to like these round you. We hope that everybody has a protected, wholesome, and comfortable vacation season.”
