Brandy, who grew to become the primary Black actress to painting Cinderella on display screen in 1997’s Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, will return to the position within the upcoming Disney+ unique film The Pocketwatch, the steamer introduced Nov. 21.

The most recent installment within the Descendants franchise, The Pocketwatch may even star Rita Ora because the Queen of Hearts who, based on the streamer, “guidelines over the dominion of Wonderland with an iron fist.” 

Brandy and Rita will probably be joined by beforehand introduced solid members Descendants 2 and Descendants 3 star China Anne McClain, Gabby Duran and the Unsittables‘ Kylie Cantrall and Excessive Faculty Musical: The Musical: The Collection‘ Dara Reneé. 

The Descendants film trilogy, which kicked off in 2015, launched viewers to 2 new lands—idyllic Auradon and the ragtag Isle of the Misplaced—which function the respective properties of the teenage descendants a few of Disney’s most iconic heroes and villains.

“The daring new story of The Pocketwatch returns to those lands,” based on the streamer, “and likewise takes audiences by means of the rabbit gap to the hostile unincorporated territory of Wonderland, a magical, mysterious place made well-known in Alice in Wonderland.”
