Blur Reunite for First Live performance in Eight Years

Blur will reunite subsequent summer time for his or her headlining present in eight years.

The Britpop icons will play London’s Wembley Stadium on July eighth. They’ll be joined by supporting acts slowthai, Jockstrap, and Self Esteem.

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 18th at 10:00 a.m. native time Ticketmaster. An artist pre-sale will precede the general public on-sale beginning Wednesday, November sixteenth.

For the time being, it’s unclear if Blur will play further tour dates past the Wembley live performance. The band final launched into a tour in 2015 in help of their album, The Magic Whip. In 2019, they reunited for a short three-song efficiency at an Africa Specific efficiency staged by frontman Damon Albarn.

It’s shaping as much as be one other busy 12 months for Albarn; along with regrouping with Blur, he’ll put out a brand new Gorillaz album referred to as Cracker Island in February.

In the meantime, Blur bandmate Graham Coxon will launch an album as The WAEVE, his collaborative venture with companion and former Pipettes member, Rose Eilnor Dougall, and drummer Dave Rowntree will put out his debut solo album, Radio Songs.
