Anton Corbijn Doc ‘Squaring the Circle’ Lands at Utopia

The documentary Squaring the Circle (The Story of Hipgnosis), concerning the famed artwork design studio behind album artwork from Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin, has landed at Utopia.

Anton Corbijn (A Most Wished Man, The American) makes his characteristic doc debut on the undertaking, which is heading to the Sundance Movie Competition after premiering at Telluride. The doc tells the story of Hipgnosis and its founders Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey “Po” Powell, who have been chargeable for a few of the most recognizable album covers of all time, together with Pink Floyd’s Darkish Facet of the Moon and Led Zeppelin’s Homes of the Holy, and labored with artists like Paul McCartney, Wings, Black Sabbath and AC/DC.

Raindog Movies is behind the doc, which was produced by Trish D Chetty, Ged Doherty, and Oscar-winning actor Colin Firth. Hartwig Masuch, Alistair Norbury, Stuart Souter, Merck Mercuriadis, Thorsten Schumacher, George Chignell, Andrew Hulme and Nick Angel exec produced, with Man Thompson and Christian Holland co-producing.
