The artist behind “As a result of I Received Excessive” is now looking for the next workplace: Afroman has introduced that he’s operating for president within the 2024 US election.

“There comes a time in the middle of human occasions when change should be affected,” his marketing campaign supervisor Jason Savage wrote on Instagram. “That point is now. Individuals are struggling, and the established order is not acceptable.”

The 48-year-old Afroman, born Jason Foreman, broke out in 2001 with The Good Occasions, which included the hit songs “As a result of I Received Excessive,” and “Loopy Rap,” also called “Colt 45 and a couple of Zig-Zags.” He has now launched 18 studio albums, most lately 2022’s Lemon Pound Cake.
